The main differences are that they have a pitch range of up to 50, a high torque which ensures the vinyl reaches its correct speed as soon as its released from your hand (0.3 seconds) or when pressing play. Also the leads at the back are interchangable, rather than fixed. The PLX-1000 is precision engineered for the booth, drawing on 50 years experience of making high-end turntables.
